How to Forward an Old Gmail Address to a New Gmail Address in 2023

Gmail Forwarding Checklist:

  1. Login to old Gmail Address
  2. Click on gear
  3. Click on See all settings
  4. Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP
  5. Click Add a forwarding address
  6. Enter the new email address and click next
  7. Follow any directions from gmail to confirm your right to do this forwarding
  8. Go to new email address and look for confirmation
  9. Click on Confirmation link in new email address
  10. Return to old email address and choose to forward email
  11. Click Save
  12. Test if it makes you feel better ;)
